Ridgefest 2010 cover featuring Joan Jett, the entertainment headliner for that year’s festival.

Kept cover simple, using only the illustrated image of Joan Jett, a burst background, the festival logo, and a small floating graphic with festival information.

Used the PR photo supplied of Joan Jett being used for internal copy to make an illustrated version to use on the cover. Playing with layers and the burst to allow for Joan’s body to be streaked by the burst, except for her hair, which remained solid with no bursting effect, and broke the frame line to draw more attention.
