Production Systems Coordinator

• Performed coordination between the Lee Design Center and over 60 publication sites with system upgrades and on-boarding for in-house publications and commercial runs.
• Conducted training for updated systems. 
• Organized and produced information and documentation and distributed across multiple sites and vendors to provide resolution for issues in a timely manner utilizing various communication platforms.
• Troubleshoot any and all issues that caused any type of slow down or hold up in the production work flow of any given project.

Quality Control Associate

• Confirmed all submitted assets adhered to appropriate production standards, ensuring content and advertisements were correctly laid out, and processed publication pages by deadlines.
• Final page approval to release to press, color corrected photos, adjust files for production as necessary.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise in all stages of a project life-cycle. Page design for “Feature” pages (Comics, puzzles, reviews, etc.).

Prepress / Production Planning

• Create layouts and plans specified for print publications according to standards set by advertisement, editorial and design specifications per publication across 20+ sites that had joined the Centralized Layout Project. 
• Execute building of plans once approved by site or submitted by sites not included with the project, and released pages for design center to process. 
• Entered plans into Newsway system to ensure designed pages reached print facilities and output correctly per layout and press specifications.

Southwest Regional Publishing — Oct 2014 – Aug 2015

Head Page Designer / Prepress Specialist

• Page designer for weekly newspaper, “The Regional News” and special sections publications. 
• Designed flyers and other collateral for local businesses advertising within publications.
• Other responsibilities included content management for publication’s website, content management for Southwest Regional Publishing website and social media and occasional platemaking for press.
